March 2004 -- Disney World [6]

The day winding down, we headed off to our dinner reservations.

I will long remember this dinner as being one of the best I ever had. Not just for the food and the surroundings, but for the company.

I said to Shaene and Craig that the sun coming through the blinds, and the room becoming progressively darker, reminded me of the scene at the Tyrell Corporation in Blade Runner.

And, in fact, so does the building itself.

The Contemporary has a balcony at the north end. You can see for miles in every direction; it's a fun place to watch the nightly Magic Kingdom fireworks show, and that's why Janet chose that location and that time for the dinner. Janet is a master at making reservations to get the most out of Disney World.

A fine end to the big day.
