Janet and the Tempkins.

A couple of us at street level.

A couple more of New York. I can see why Garry Winogrand could make a career out of basically going out the door and blazing away at whatever comes by. He spent years doing street photography in New York.

New York is the world capital of photography, I think. It's where Steiglitz got started with the first photography as art, photography that was more than Matthew-Brady-type Civil War guys with beards (live or dead). It's where he pointed the camera out the back window of his apartment and got a picture of his neighbor's roof with snow on it, lit by the streetlights, and the world saw that that could be art.
